Went to the harvester yesterday for a Sunday meal. We hadn't booked but we're seated straight away in a lovely window position. Service was excellent and the waiter was very friendly and polite. The food was great, as was the salad & dessert . Overall a very pleasant afternoon in lovely surroundings. Will definitely be going back
Glad i tried to give this Havester a try as live on the other side of the city nearer the Perdys Havester resturant which after the disatrous visit for my birthday inJanuary to which we didnt stay and have a meal after ording drinks , because after placing a food order she came back to tell me ( whose birthday it was ) my meal actually was avalible and hadnt been for months ( so sorry no excuse there)
Waitress a, put me under pressure to hurry up and order something else ! B, on asking about how the steaks are there was rude to me and contined to keep going on + on ! To which i had to ask her to be quite ! I promtly gave her an alternative that i wasnt really fancing to leave us ! We then left the resterant !
The Harvester experiance at the Timberdine Bath road , was excellant from nicer.staff , superer chefs , as the food is better tasting ! The salade bar is stocked with a more variety of foods ! An all round super time was had by all and worth the traffic from one side of the city to this one ! Thankyou
Great food at a reasonable price staff were attentive when you asked them for something and seemed happy doing their job. My kids loved it and we would love to visit again and probably will. I have read some of the reviews on here after my visit and I'm glad I didn't read them before as I probably wouldn't have gone there. How someone can give it a 1 star rating and call the place a "rancid hellhole" and the "atmosphere atrocious" is beyond me. Pay no attention to this and try it for yourself I say. In comparison to the carvery at the ketch this place wins hands down. Highly recommended.
